Black Friday Glasses Deals UK 2026: What to Expect and How to Save

Black Friday glasses deals can save you money, but only if you know a real deal when you see one. This guide covers when the 2026 sales start, which UK glasses retailers to watch, and how to check a “discount” is genuine. We’ll add retailers’ Black Friday offers here as they’re announced in November.

When Is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday falls on Friday 27 November 2026, and Cyber Monday follows on Monday 30 November. However, many retailers now start their sales earlier in November and run them for several weeks. So it’s worth having your prescription and shortlist ready before the sales begin.

Black Friday Glasses Deals: Retailers to Watch

These are the online retailers we’ll be watching. Here’s what each one offered before the sales, so you can tell whether a Black Friday deal actually beats it:

  • Specscart: buy two frames from £49 and get 50% off the second, with anti-glare and scratch-resistant coatings included on every pair.
  • Lentiamo: code GLASSES20 for 20% off its own-brand glasses when we checked in October.
  • SmartBuyGlasses: a huge range of designer brands, with 100-day free returns that include prescription lenses.
  • Mojoglasses: genuine designer frames below their full price, with lenses made in its own UK lab.
  • Urban Sunglasses: designer sunglasses, often with discount codes running.

Codes and offers change often, so check the retailer’s own site before you buy.

Are Black Friday Glasses Deals Really Cheaper?

Not always. In November 2025, Which? found that 83% of products on offer were the same price or cheaper at least once outside the Black Friday period. With glasses, watch for two tricks in particular:

  • Inflated “was” prices. Designer frames often show a full price that few people ever pay, so a big percentage off isn’t always a big saving.
  • Cheap frames, expensive lenses. A low frame price means little if thinner lenses or coatings add £50 or more at checkout, so compare the full price for your prescription.

How to Get Ready Before the Sales

  • Check your prescription is in date. See our guide to how long a glasses prescription lasts.
  • Know your PD. Most online retailers ask for it, and you can measure your PD at home.
  • Shortlist frames now. Then you’ll know a good price when the sales start.
  • Check the returns policy. Some retailers refund only the frame, so read our glasses returns comparison first.
  • Got an NHS voucher? Remember it usually only works in store, so online sales won’t help you use it.

Black Friday Deals on Glasses Accessories

Cleaning kits, repair kits, cases and anti-fog sprays often drop in price on Amazon during big sales. Our Prime Day glasses accessories guide lists the ones worth buying.

Black Friday Glasses Deals: The Short Answer

Black Friday 2026 is on 27 November, but sales usually start earlier. Get your prescription and PD ready, note today’s prices, and only buy if the Black Friday price beats them once lenses are included. We’ll update this page as retailers announce their deals.
